The Best Party Venues in Romford

THE BEST PARTY VENUES IN ROMFORD

Finding a party venue for your child’s next birthday party can add to the stress of party planning.

However, I have been to almost every venue in Romford so I have compiled the very best party venues in Romford so you don’t have to.

I always recommend booking your children’s entertainer first because this will be the thing that your guests will remember the most.

Plus, entertainers get booked up quickly which means there isn’t much flexibility with them.

With hundreds of places to host a party, booking your venue should come second  but it is also important to get it right.

Booking the wrong venue could result in overcrowding, bad acoustics, lateness from your guests or

If you’re a parent wanting to host your party in the Romford or Havering area, here is a list of venues that I recommend:

(please note, I am not affiliated with these venues in any way and they have not asked me to share this information, this is my personal and professional opinion).

Harold Hill Community Centre – in the 12 years I have been a children’s entertainer, this hall has been one of my favourites.  With plenty of parking and two rooms to choose from, this cute centre will be a hit with your guests.  I have been told it is one of the more expensive venues and they only usually reply to enquiries in the evenings but it is a great venue!

Ascension Church Hall, Collier Row – one of my local halls, there isn’t a huge car park but as it is situated on the high street, there will be other places to park.  The hall itself is a great size, with a kitchen area, tables and chairs to borrow and even a quiet area at the back if children need some time out from all the party excitement.  I have even used this hall for my own children in previous years.

North Romford Community Centre – another highly recommended venue by me as I have used it for my own events too, I have entertained in both the big hall with the stage and the smaller room.  The main hall with the stage gives a nice vibe and looks great in your party photos and even has it’s own disco lights.  Often used to host shows in the evenings, this makes for a great party venue for your child’s next birthday party.

Rush Green Community Centre – have only entertained here once but the hall itself does the job!  A bar is available upon request, tables and chairs are available and ample parking too.

Holy Cross Church Hall, Hornchurch – one of the venues I have entertained at the most, plus you can see how it looks on my show reel video on my homepage. It works because the venue is central to Romford and Hornchurch, has lots of parking, a nice sized room with a small stage, a kitchen and room for a bouncy castIe. I have even seen a bouncy castle outside of the venue and I entertained inside which works!

Cranham Community Centre – easy to get to, there are quite a few rooms to choose from but I usually entertain in the far end rooms, one has a stage area and one is just a large room.  Again, lots of parking, and has a nice vibe to it inside.  Just make sure if there is another party held at the same time as yours, that it doesn’t get too crowded with people and parking.

Cranham Baptist Church Hall – set in a residential area, this is such a lovely venue to host a birthday party.   I have done a disco here and my normal show and it works because the stage area is a small platform so I can be down with the chaos, and the side area is amazing to have your tables and chairs for the food break.  The rest of the room is big enough to have both children and their parents but the car park is small.  However, as it is in a residential area, there is parking in the surrounding roads too.

The main thing to consider when booking your party venue is parking, and space inside the venue.  If you get these right, then your party will mostly go without a hitch.

I have even more venues that I recommend on my Party Venues section on the website, so go and visit for more inspiration.

Don’t forget, I also have a party planner which is the ONLY planner by a children’s entertainer and is crammed with absolutely everything you need to help you have an easy party planning journey.

  1. This is such a helpful guide! I love how you’ve shared your personal experiences with each venue—it really makes it easier to choose the right one. Parking and space are definitely key considerations, and I appreciate the tips on stages and quiet areas for kids. Can’t wait to check out your party planner too!
